Our Qualifications

Tims' qualifications (there are 14 of us) range from a PhD in philosophy, to Corgi registration, to an NVQ in basic plumbing.

Everyone in our team is a fully qualified plumber. Our apprentices all do the ICS course and a minimum of three months working with one of us before they are allowed out on their own. All our plumbers, once qualified, are registered with the Institute of Plumbing.

We are adhere to ISO 9001 standards of management.

Our Pricing

We charge £25 for a plumber to visit you. We then charge £30 per hour for the plumber's time; a part of any hour (if less than 30 minutes) is charged at £15.

Materials are charged at cost, and receipts provided for everything.

Quotes are free, and include estimates of cost for time and materials. If the job takes us less time or needs fewer materials, we charge accordingly. If it takes us longer, there is no extra charge to the customer.

We offer an inexpensive routine maintenance service from £5/month to ensure that important installations like boilers are kept in tip-top condition.

Our Customers

We keep a complete record of all responses to our work, and a database of previous customers who have said they are willing to be contacted by potential customers. These are available from Tim HQ on request.

We also work for some of the major house builders e.g. Waites, and Laings.
